The dearest people in my life.

A child is born. He grows with his family. Some people are lucky enough that they get a chance to grow with their family. Some people don’t. They have to live separated from their parents due to some circumstances. They cannot get love and affection of their parents. We meet different people in our life. Those people whom we hate the most at the beginning become one of our dearests. The one we love the most become one we hate the most. I have met so many people so far in my life. But not everyone is my dearest. Yes, I have met some of the people that have made my life beautiful and happy. Parents are the dearest one. No matter what happens they will always be by my side. They work day and night not because for their happy life but for my future. They have devoted their life in order to brighten my life. So no matter what I will always owe them. Yes!! They are the dearest one. Thanks to them that they gave me my little sister. Because of them, I got this little cute sister. She is...

Parents

When the words parents occur we visualize our father and mother. Parents take care of their children till they are well educated and settled. Parents are the ones who provide us with all the basic things such as food, clothes and shelter. It is believed that once a child is born it is the parent’s’ responsibility to provide these basic things to their children. Those who don’t have the capability to raise a child shouldn’t give birth to a child. The parents whose economic status is strong can easily provide better education, clothes, food and other stuffs depending upon the children’s interests and hobbies. But parents whose economic status is weak can only provide the basic needs. And sometimes, they may not even be able to do that. Parents are the one who have seen us grow. They have been there to witness the first step we took and the first word we uttered. They always give priority to our want before theirs. They think about what we want and not about they want. I think this i...

Paint Ball

The hiking club organized a paintball event on January 27, 2017. There were around 16 students along with the coordinators Prayush Shrestha and Kriston Pal. In the beginning, the participants were informed that the event is going to be held in Sanepa. Unfortunately, the venue was changed. The paintball field was moved to Chobar. The moment we reached the venue, everyone started preparing for the game.  There were different types of equipment such as paintball guns, paintballs, and paintball tanks on the table. Later, the instructor gave us tactical vests, helmets, goggles and chest protectors in order to shield ourselves. That paintball gear ensures safety while still allowing us to move around comfortably during the game. Then the instructor tutored us about the rules and regulation of the game. He repeated the rules twice so that we may not hurt the players. We took some group photographs as well. As soon as we took the photo, we hurried to get to the battlefield. T...

Will power cuts in Kathmandu be a thing of history?

Nepal is the second richest country in water resources after Brazil. According to recent studies, Nepali rivers and the steep topography of Nepal supports to develop the biggest hydro projects in the world. Therefore, Nepal has a huge hydropower potential. Current estimates are that Nepal has a potential to generate about 40000 MW hydropower. However, till date Nepal has only produced approximately 680 MW of electricity. Despites it’s potential only 40 % people have access to electricity. The word “loadshedding” is familiar among Nepali people since they often face electricity crisis. Despite the capacity, Kathmandu Valley had been facing long hours of power cut; the power cuts would reach up to 16 hours a day in the dry season. The Perks of studying in small college

It’s been around 5 years that I had graduated from school. I still remember the pressure I felt while choosing the college. Every student have to go through it. It felt like I was taking some life changing decision back then. Though it was not life changing decision but it affects in one way or the other way. I choose to enroll into the large college and at the end I was disappointed. I have spent 15 years of my school life in class with not more than 25 students. But back in high school, the number of the student got double. Since I have studied in two different environments, I can clearly distinguish which one is better. Well, I think it depends on people's personality and perception whether to like small class or huge class. For me, if I have to choose between the large college and small college, I would go for the small one. I personally think that there are many benefits in being small classes than the big one. There are people who cannot get along with everyone and pre...
